Nail art motif with oceanic mussel

You need:
1. Half pearls in several colours
2. Nail art pen in “Turquoise”
3. Nail art liner in “dark Green”
4. Clear nail lacquer
5. Oceanic mussels
6. Tweezers
7. Spot-Swirl or toothpick

Tip:
We recommend to begin with the thumb, because it has a larger working surface.

Step 1: Nail art pen in the colour turquoise
Start on the left edge of the fingernail and draw with the nail art pen in the colour turquoise a slightly curved line.

Now paint the front part of the fingernail with the nail art pen in turquoise.

The result should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 2, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 2: Nail art pen in the colour turquoise
Paint another layer nail lacquer on the first layer which is already dried. If you use bright nail lacquer, you should always paint another layer in the same colour, so that the nail surface does not through-gleam.

Tip:
If you have synthetic fingernails you should pay attention that the edge of the fingernail is also painted. This causes a perfect and consistent look of your fingernail.

The result should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 3, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 3: Nail art liner in the colour dark green
Draw with the nail art liner in the colour dark green three swung lines on the nail lacquer.

Tip:
Before you use the nail art liner, you should strip the surplus lacquer of the brush at the edge of the bottle. Thus you can draw clean, fine lines.

Note:
Before you continue with step 4, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 4: Clear nail lacquer, the tweezers, the spot-swirl or a toothpick, a oceanic mussel and a half pearl
Set a big drop of the clear nail lacquer beside the three lines for the oceanic mussel.

Take up with the tweezers the oceanic mussel and put the oceanic mussel on the damp clear nail lacquer.

Press with the tweezers the oceanic mussel firmly on the fingernail surface.

Set a drop of the clear nail lacquer in the middle of the oceanic mussel for the half pearl.

Moisten easily the tip of the spot-swirl or a toothpick and take up a half pearl, which should stick to the tip. Now set the half pearl on the damp clear nail lacquer.

The nail art motif with oceanic mussel should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with the last step, wait until the clear nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 5: Clear nail lacquer
At the last step you have to paint over the entire fingernail with a clear nail lacquer.

The clear nail lacquer protects the nail art and gives the fingernail more gloss.

After the clear nail lacquer is dried, the nail art motif with oceanic mussel is finished.
