New Year´s Eve design for nails

You need:
1. Nail lacquer in “Black”
2. Nail lacquer in “bright Beige”
3. Nail art liner in “Silver-Glitter”
4. Clear nail lacquer

Tip:
We recommend to begin with the thumb, because it has a larger working surface.

Step 1: Nail lacquer in the colour bright beige
Paint the fingernail with the nail lacquer in the colour bright beige. Begin at the rear side of the nail and pull the brush forward to the edge of the nail.

Tip:
Try to apply evenly the colour, so that no irregularities are to be seen.

Note:
Before you continue with step 2, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 2: Nail lacquer in the colour bright beige
Paint another layer nail lacquer on the first layer which is already dried. If you use a bright nail lacquer, you should always paint another layer in the same colour, so that the nail surface does not through-gleam.

Tip:
Also here you should try to apply evenly the colour, so that no irregularities are to be seen.

Tip:
If you have synthetic fingernails you should pay attention that the edge of the fingernail is also painted. This causes a perfect and consistent look of your fingernail.

Note:
Before you continue with step 3, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 3: Nail lacquer in the colour black
Begin at the left edge over the center of the fingernail and draw with the nail lacquer in the colour black a line to the lower right edge of the fingernail.

Repeat the procedure and draw a further line at the black line.

The New Year´s Eve design for nails should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 4, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 4: Nail art liner in the colour silver-glitter
Draw with the nail art liner in the colour silver-glitter above the black line two swung lines.

Tip:
Before you use the nail art liner, you should strip the surplus lacquer of the brush at the edge of the bottle. Thus you can draw clean, fine lines.

Now draw with the nail art liner below the black line also two swung lines.

The New Year´s Eve design for nails should correspond approximately to the picture.

Use continue the nail art liner in silver-glitter and write on the black nail lacquer “2008” or the current year.

Step 5: Clear nail lacquer
At the last step you have to paint over the entire fingernail with a clear nail lacquer.

The clear nail lacquer protects the nail art and gives the fingernail more gloss.

After the clear nail lacquer is dried, the New Year´s Eve design for nails is finished.
