Nail art motif with mussels and strass stones

You need:
1. Nail lacquer in “dark-Blue”
2. Clear nail lacquer
3. Strass stones in “Crystal”
4. Mussels
5. Tweezers
6. Spot-Swirl or toothpick

Tip:
We recommend to begin with the thumb, because it has a larger working surface.

Step 1: Nail lacquer in the colour dark blue
Begin on the left edge of the fingernail and draw with the nail lacquer in the colour dark blue a line to the right fingernail tip.

Now paint the lower side of the fingernail with the nail lacquer in dark blue.

Tip:
If you have synthetic fingernails you should pay attention that the edge of the fingernail is also painted. This causes a perfect and consistent look of your fingernail.

The result should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
You have to continue with step 2, before the nail lacquer is dried.

Step 2: Mussels and the tweezers
Take up with the tweezers the mussel and put the mussel on the damp nail lacquer.

Press with the tweezers the mussel firmly on the fingernail surface.

Repeat the procedure for a further mussel.

The nail art motif with mussels and strass stones should correspond approximately to the picture.

Step 3: Clear nail lacquer, the spot-swirl or toothpick and the strass stones in crystal
Paint on the fingernail surface a thin layer of the clear nail lacquer, as attachment for strass stones.

Moisten easily the tip of the spot-swirl or a toothpick and take up a strass stone, which should stick to the tip. Now set the strass stone on the damp clear nail lacquer.

Repeat the procedure for further strass stones.

The nail art motif with mussels and strass stones should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with the last step, wait until the clear nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 4: Clear nail lacquer
At the last step you have to paint over the entire fingernail with a clear nail lacquer.

The clear nail lacquer protects the nail art and gives the fingernail more gloss.

After the clear nail lacquer is dried, the nail art motif with mussels and strass stones is finished.
