Nail decoration with hologram foil

You need:
1. Nail lacquer in “White”
2. Nail art liner in “Silver-Glitter”
3. Clear adhesive tape
4. Cutter
5. Clear nail lacquer
6. Hologram foil
7. Tweezers

Tip:
We recommend to begin with the thumb, because it has a larger working surface.

Step 1: Clear adhesive tape, the cutter and the tweezers
Cut for preparation a piece clear adhesive tape. Take up the piece of the tape with the tweezers and stick it diagonally on the fingernail.

Press with the tweezers the tape firmly to the surface of the fingernail.

The result should correspond approximately to the picture.

Step 2: Nail lacquer in the colour white
Now paint the free fingernail surface with the nail lacquer in the colour white.

The result should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 3, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 3: Nail lacquer in the colour white
Paint another layer nail lacquer on the first layer which is already dried. If you use a bright nail lacquer, you should always paint another layer in the same colour, so that the nail surface does not through-gleam.

The result should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 4, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 4: Tweezers
Remove carefully with the tweezers the clear adhesive tape.

The result should correspond approximately to the picture.

Step 5: Hologram foil, the cutter and the tweezers
Cut two narrow strips of hologram foil and remove the paper from the adhesive side. Take up the first strip with the tweezers and stick it diagonally on the fingernail.

Press with the tweezers the hologram foil firmly on the surface of the fingernail.

Cut on the right edge of the fingernail the rest of the hologram foil.

The nail decoration with hologram foil should correspond approximately to the picture.

Now take up with the tweezers the second strip of the hologram foil and stick it also diagonally on the fingernail.

Press with the tweezers the hologram foil firmly on the surface of the fingernail.

Cut on the left side of the fingernail tip the rest of the hologram foil.

The nail decoration with hologram foil should correspond approximately to the picture.

Step 6: Nail art liner in the colour silver-glitter
Now use the nail art liner in the colour silver-glitter. Draw a line at the transition of the white nail lacquer and the free nail surface.

Tip:
Before you use the nail art liner, you should strip the surplus lacquer of the brush at the edge of the bottle. Thus you can draw clean, fine lines.

Draw with the nail art liner a line below the first hologram foil.

Now draw with the nail art liner a line above the second hologram foil.

The nail decoration with hologram foil should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with the last step, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 7: Clear nail lacquer
At the last step you have to paint over the entire fingernail with a clear nail lacquer.

The clear nail lacquer protects the nail art and gives the fingernail more gloss.

After the clear nail lacquer is dried, the nail decoration with hologram foil is finished.
