Fingernails decorated with beaten gold

You need:
1. Nail lacquer in “Copper”
2. Nail art liner in “Gold-Glitter”
3. Clear nail lacquer
4. Half pearls
5. Beaten gold
6. Tweezers
7. Spot-Swirl or toothpick

For preparation pick small pieces of the beaten gold with the tweezers and put it into a small container.

Tip:
We recommend to begin with the thumb, because it has a larger working surface.

Step 1: Nail lacquer in the colour copper
Paint the fingernail with the nail lacquer in the colour copper. Begin at the rear side of the fingernail and pull the brush forward to the edge of the fingernail, as left in the pictures shown.

Tip:
If you have synthetic fingernails you should pay attention that the edge of the fingernail is also painted. This causes a perfect and consistent look of your fingernail.

The result should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 2, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 2: Beaten gold, the tweezers and the clear nail lacquer
Now paint on the fingernail a thin layer of the clear nail lacquer, as left in the pictures shown.

Take up with the tweezers a piece of the picked gold foil and put it on the damp clear nail lacquer.

Press with the tweezers the gold foil at the surface of the fingernail.

Repeat the procedures several times.

The fingernails decorated with beaten gold should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 3, wait until the clear nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 3: Clear nail lacquer, the spot-swirl or a toothpick and the half pearls
Set four drops of the clear nail lacquer, as attachment for the half pearls, as left in the pictures shown.

Moisten easily the tip of the spot-swirl or a toothpick and take up a half pearl, which should stick to the tip. Now set the half pearl on the damp clear nail lacquer, as left in the picture shown.

Repeat the procedure for three further half pearls.

The fingernails decorated with beaten gold should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 4, wait until the clear nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 4: Nail art liner in the colour gold-glitter
Now draw with the nail art liner in the colour gold-glitter two long curved lines at the fingernail.

The fingernails decorated with beaten gold should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with the last step, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 5: Clear nail lacquer
At the last step you have to paint over the entire fingernail with a clear nail lacquer.

The clear nail lacquer protects the nail art and gives the fingernail more gloss.

After the clear nail lacquer is dried, the fingernails decorated with beaten gold is finished.
