Design with metallic foil

You need:
1. Nail polish in “Black”
2. Metallic Foil Adhesive
3. Nail polish in “dark-Pink”
4. Nail art liner in “Silver-Glitter”
5. Tweezers
6. Clear nail polish
7. Cutter
8. Metallic Foil
9. Spot-Swirl or toothpick

Tip:
We recommend to begin with the thumb, because it has a larger working surface.

Step 1: You need the nail polish in the colour black
Draw a swung line on the center of your fingernail with the nail polish in the colour black.

The result should correspond approximately to the picture.

Now paint the half of your fingernail with the nail polish in the colour black. Begin at the rear side of your nail and pull the brush forward to the nail tip.

Tip:
Try to apply evenly the colour, so that no irregularities are to be seen.

Note:
Before you continue with step 2, wait until the nail polish on the fingernail is dried.

Step 2: You need the metallic foil adhesive
Now have to be laid on the black nail polish a layer metallic foil adhesive.

The adhesive is necessary for the adhesion of the metallic foil on your fingernail in the next step.

Note:
Before you continue with step 3, wait until the metallic foil adhesive on the fingernail is transparent.

Step 3: You need the tweezers and the metallic foil in silver
When the metallic foil adhesive became transparency, it has still enough adhesion, so that the metallic foil can stick on it.

Cut one piece metallic foil. Take up that piece of the metallic foil with the tweezers and place it on your fingernail

Press carefully the metallic foil with the tweezers on your fingernail.

Step 4: You need the spot-swirl or a toothpick
Press with the spot-swirl or a toothpick the metallic foil firmly on your fingernail.

The result should correspond approximately to the picture.

Step 5: You need the tweezers
Now remove carefully with the tweezers the metallic foil.

When you remove the metallic foil, there will be stick a part of the foil on your fingernail and it will form an individual sample.

The design with metallic foil should correspond approximately to the picture.

Step 6: You need the nail polish in the colour dark-pink
Paint the other half of your fingernail with the nail polish in the colour dark-pink. Begin at the rear side of your nail and pull the brush forward to the nail tip.

Tip:
Also here you should try to apply evenly the colour, so that no irregularities are to be seen.

Tip:
If you have synthetic fingernails you should pay attention that the edge of the fingernail is also painted. This causes a perfect and consistent look of your fingernail.

The design with metallic foil should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 7, wait until the nail polish on the fingernail is dried.

Step 7: You need the nail art liner in the colour silver-glitter
Now you need the nail art liner in silver-glitter. Draw a line on the transition of the black and the dark-pink nail polish. Begin at the rear side of your nail and pull the brush forward on the transition to the nail tip.

The nail art design with metallic foil should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with the last step, wait until the nail polish on the fingernail is dried.

Step 8: You need the clear nail polish
At the last step you have to paint over the entire fingernail with a clear nail polish.

The clear nail polish protects the nail art and gives the fingernail more gloss.

After the clear nail polish is dried, the nail art design with metallic foil is finished.
