Chess

You need:
1. Nail art liner in “Black”
2. Nail polish in “Black”
3. Nail polish in “White”
4. Clear nail polish
5. Nail art liner in “Silver-Glitter”

Tip:
We recommend to begin with the thumb, because it has a larger working surface.

Step 1: You need the nail art liner in the colour black
As preparation you must draw a raster on your fingernail. Draw with the nail art liner in the colour black two vertical lines.

Draw with the Nailart liner in black two horizontal lines.

The raster should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 2, wait until the nail polish on the fingernail is dried.

Step 2: You need the nail polish in the colour black
Paint four squares of the raster with the nail polish in black. Begin in the upper row with the middle square.

Now paint in the middle row the two outside squares with the nail polish in black.

Paint in the lower row the middle square with the nail polish in black.

The chess motif should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 3, wait until the nail polish on the fingernail is dried.

Step 3: You need the nail polish in the colour white
Now use the nail polish in the colour white. Paint the remaining free squares with the nail polish in white.

Tip:
If you have synthetic fingernails you should pay attention that the edge of the fingernail is also painted. This causes a perfect and consistent look of the fingernail.

Before you continue with step 4, wait until the nail polish on the fingernail is dried.

Step 4: You need the nail art liner in the colour silver-glitter
Now you need the nail art liner in the colour silver glitter. Draw on the vertical transitions a line in silver-glitter.

Draw with the nail art liner in silver-glitter a line on the horizontal transitions.

The nail art chess motif should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with the last step, wait until the nail polish on the fingernail is dried.

Step 5: You need the clear nail polish
At the last step you have to paint over the entire fingernail with a clear nail polish.

The clear nail polish protects the nail art and gives the fingernail more gloss.

After the clear nail polish is dried, the nail art chess motif is finished.
