Art nails in claret-red and silver-glitter

You need:
1. Nail lacquer in “Claret-Red”
2. Nail art pen in “White”
3. Nail art pen in “Bronze”
4. Nail art pen in “Red”
5. Nail art liner in “Silver-Glitter”
6. Clear nail lacquer
7. Strass stones in “Crystal”
8. Spot-Swirl or toothpick

Tip:
We recommend to begin with the thumb, because it has a larger working surface.

Step 1: Nail lacquer in the colour claret-red
Paint the fingernail with the nail lacquer in the colour claret-red. Begin at the rear side of the fingernail and pull the brush forward to the edge of the fingernail.

Tip:
Try to apply evenly the colour, so that no irregularities are to be seen.

Tip:
If you have synthetic fingernails you should pay attention that the edge of the fingernail is also painted. This causes a perfect and consistent look of your fingernail.

Note:
Before you continue with step 2, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 2: Nail lacquer in the colour claret-red
Now paint another layer nail lacquer on the first layer which is already dried.

Tip:
Also here you should try to apply evenly the colour, so that no irregularities are to be seen.

Note:
You have to continue with step 3, before the nail lacquer is dried.

Step 3: Nail art pens in the colours white, bronze and red
Draw with the nail art pen in the colour white two large points on the fingernail.

You need the nail art pen in the colour bronze. Draw on the two white points another point in bronze.

Now draw with the nail art pen in the colour red, on the two white points another point in red.

The art nails in claret-red and silver-glitter should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
You have to continue with step 4, before the nail lacquer is dried.

Step 4: Spot-Swirl or a toothpick
Set the spot-swirl or toothpick at the upper side of the red point on the right side and pull over the three points a swung line down to the fingernail tip.

Set the spot-swirl or toothpick between the red point and the bronze point on the right side and pull a swung line to the left side.

Set the spot-swirl or toothpick at the lower side of the red point on the left side and pull over the three points a swung line to the top.

Now set the spot-swirl or toothpick at the lower end of the white line and pull a short swung line to the bottom.

The art nails in claret-red and silver-glitter should correspond approximately to the picture.

Note:
Before you continue with step 5, wait until the nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 5: Nail art liner in silver-glitter, the clear nail lacquer, the spot-swirl and two strass stones in crystal
Now draw with the nail art liner in the colour silver-glitter two curved lines on the claret-red nail lacquer.

Tip:
Before you use the nail art liner, you should strip the surplus lacquer of the brush at the edge of the bottle. Thus you can draw clean, fine lines.

The art nails in claret-red and silver-glitter should correspond approximately to the picture.

Set a big drop of the clear nail lacquer below the tip of the two lines as attachment for two strass stones in crystal.

Moisten easily the tip of the spot-swirl or toothpick and take up a strass stone, which should stick to the tip. Now set the strass stone on the damp clear nail lacquer.

Repeat the procedure for a further strass stone.

Before you continue with the last step, wait until the clear nail lacquer on the fingernail is dried.

Step 6: Clear nail lacquer
At the last step you have to paint over the entire fingernail with a clear nail lacquer.

The clear nail lacquer protects the nail art and gives the fingernail more gloss.

After the clear nail lacquer is dried, the art nails in claret-red and silver-glitter is finished.
